Postpartum Support
While we agree that your newborn is the most important thing to you, we happen to think that your health and well-being is a priority too!
Postpartum doulas provide families information and in-home support on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, infant soothing, and general coping skills while learning all about their new little person. Some families will even have their postpartum doula come to the house before the baby is born to help make meals to freeze and generally get everything ready at home for baby’s arrival.
We want to make the transition with your baby as magical as possible. You know (or will figure out) how to parent your baby so you don’t have to worry about us pushing any particular agenda or philosophy. We will offer suggestions based on our experience but always while supporting your choices without judgement.
Once baby is born, whether you need help during the day or overnight our postpartum doulas will be there for you. People often find that hiring a doula to come overnight is a smart investment in their sanity and health. We all know that life is just better all around when we’ve had a good sleep!
