When is the last time you saw a movie or TV show that portrayed birth in a non-dramatic way? Yeah, we are still looking for one too!
Families often feel overwhelmed and under prepared to approach birth with a sense of confidence and trust. It’s hard not to feel that way when you are inundated with images and stories that perpetuate the lies about birth.
The truth…birth can be an incredible experience! I mean you are quite literally welcoming new life into the world! It SHOULD be an incredible experience!

We work for you. Not your provider or the birth facility if applicable. You’re in charge and get to make all of the decisions, we are just there to help you get all of the information you need so that those decisions are informed.

Sadly many families are not prepared for birth. The majority have no input with their providers during their pregnancy and then they show up at the hospital, in labor with no plan or idea of what they want. We really believe that this correlates to the incredibly high cesarean rate and tragic statistic that 1 in 3 women feel traumatized by their birth. That’s heartbreaking!
